At Reputation Ink, it’s a standing trope that Shelby makes sure the trains leave and arrive on time. Since her hire in 2016, Shelby’s role at the agency has evolved from Project Manager to Operations Manager to now Director of Account Services. In all her roles, Shelby keeps her pencils sharpened and her highlighters primed to make sure both clients and fellow Rep Ink’ers have what they need, when they need it.
Process oriented and due-date driven
Shelby loves to take a busy client brief, untangle any knots and create an action plan. During her tenure at Reputation Ink, she’s overseen complete overhauls of client websites, new brand releases and other large-scale, multi-pronged initiatives. If you ever need to know the status of a project or a projected turnaround time, Shelby is the Rep Ink’er to contact.
And while hitting due dates and color-coding briefs brings Shelby sincere joy, she also loves being able to chat with clients each day. With the breadth of Rep Ink’s client bench, Shelby gets to talk to AEC firms in need of branded signage at a jobsite as well as legal marketing managers wanting to update their attorney bios, often in the same day. Every day is different at Rep Ink, but, no matter what adventures unfurl in a workday, Shelby’s job is to ensure that clients are getting the work they need, when they need it.
All the books, please
When we say Shelby is well-read, we mean it. Just as she balances incoming client requests, she is often reading upwards of five books at once. If you’re ever looking for a book recommendation, make sure you have an excuse to leave because Shelby won’t stop kindly recommending titles until you walk backwards out of the conversation.
