JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (August 29, 2024) — Steven Gallo, the Director of Content and PR at Reputation Ink, has been named to the Board of Directors for the Society of Marketing Professionals (SMPS) North Florida Chapter.
He will serve as Co-Director of Communications for the regional chapter of the national organization dedicated to education, marketing leadership, and business development in the architecture, engineering and construction (AEC) industry.
“I’m excited for Steven to contribute to an organization that has already benefitted our agency in many ways,” said Reputation Ink’s principal and president, Michelle Calcote King. “Organizations like SMPS ensure that we stay close to our clients’ most pressing issues, remain on top of industry trends and are always advancing our knowledge to better serve our clients.”
A member of the Rep Ink team since 2016, Gallo oversees a portfolio of AEC clients for the B2B public relations and thought leadership marketing agency that serves professional services firms across the country.
"I look forward to giving back to an industry I love and have learned so much from," said Gallo. "Between its booming growth and status as a major infrastructure and transportation hub, Jacksonville is attracting investment and development from AEC firms across the globe. I'm excited to work alongside some of my peers here in North Florida to promote the numerous education, networking, and business development opportunities SMPS offers."
SMPS is the association for marketing and business development professionals in AEC firms. Its 58 local chapters represent more than 7,400 members from companies across the United States and Canada.
King previously served on the North Florida chapter's board and has presented at SMPS regional conferences. Gallo has presented at local workshops hosted by the chapter; this is his first time serving on its board.
